Please join us in congratulating Amanda Sattler as she joins Covenant House California’s team as their Chief Development Officer! Amanda joins Covenant House after an impactful tenure at Junior Achievement of Southern California. She held roles including Regional Director of Training, Vice President of Education, and Interim Chief of Staff before accepting her final role as Executive Vice President of Development. As EVP, Amanda raised significant gifts for the Southern California operations and supervised a team of professionals over development and communications.
Amanda will be supervising the Major Donor and Communications Staff with the goal of raising funds to support the mission of Covenant House. Together, they will coordinate volunteer engagement, ongoing communications with staff and constituents, and work with major donors to secure support. She will also coordinate the development of agency publications, manage special events to generate funds and publicity for Covenant House, and support executive leadership in their development efforts.
“The young people that come through the doors of Covenant House are in desperate need of grace, hope and love,” Amanda shared. “From what I know and have seen so far, grace, love and hope are demonstrated to the young people through the programs, volunteers and staff at Covenant House. I can’t think of anything more important to give to a homeless teen whose world is broken then these three things.”
