Dan Rupple’s varied career in media, ministry, and education has provided him with the ideal background to serve as the next Chief Executive Officer of Mastermedia International. Succeeding founder Larry Poland, Dan joins Mastermedia after 13 years as the Producer and Creative Director of Seriously Funny Entertainment. He will oversee staff management, development, operations, finances, prayer mobilization and the field ministry of this international organization. Mastermedia provides consultation and research to media leaders to create a deeper understanding of the Christian faith, while acting as a positive influence in entertainment by touching the lives of media leaders and mobilizing a global prayer effort for them.
In addition to working with Seriously Funny Entertainment, Dan also served as an Adjunct Professor for Biola University’s Cinema and Arts Department, and as Executive Pastor for Florence Avenue Foursquare Church. He has been a Production Supervisor for CBS Television City, overseeing programs such as Family Feud, The Price Is Right, and the Late Show with David Letterman. Dan is described as a pioneer in the genre of Christian comedy, and throughout his career has found ways to share the Gospel with many in the media industry. He explained “our hearts have always been to inspire, mentor and champion the emerging generation of Christian storytellers,” and believes that leading Mastermedia as the CEO is the perfect extension of that calling.
