World Relief is an international relief and development agency. Founded in 1944 as the humanitarian arm of the National Association of Evangelicals, World Relief offers assistance to victims of poverty, disease, hunger, war, disasters and persecution. They are currently seeking a Chief Operating Officer to serve as the senior executive leader for all global operations and as executive mentor and leadership development advocate.

The Chief Operating Officer will have oversight and direction on all aspects of Programs, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Technology and Administration, as well as serve as the lead implementer of strategy across the organization. The COO will report directly to World Relief’s CEO, Stephan Bauman. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics, with demonstrated financial experience and expertise in planning, reporting and financial strategy. He/she should also have 10+ years of Executive level operation leadership experience and be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Most importantly, the COO candidate must subscribe to the values, mission and vision of World Relief as well as exhibit a mature Christian faith.
